Modern and Contemporary Balkan History

The Modern and Contemporary Balkan History Section publishes original materials that contain an author's reading of various political, diplomatic, economic, military and cultural issues from the past of the Balkan peoples in the broad framework of the 15th to the beginning of the 21st century. Articles and studies can analyze and evaluate historical processes characteristic of the region, but also specific problems of regional-local importance. Academically sound texts are preferred, with discussion topics posing various problems of a theoretical and historiographical nature.
