The Medieval General History section publishes original material on a wide range of topics related to the history of the world in the Middle Ages, from the 4th to the end of the 15th century, touching on social, political, cultural and religious issues. Translations of original documents from languages used in the Middle Ages are also accepted. Works that discuss proto-national identity, philosophical and theological issues related to interdisciplinary approaches and research within the broader framework of medieval studies are well received.
