Editorial

Abstract

From 10 to 12 May 2019 in Sofia was held an international scientific conference on "1000 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian autocephalous archdiocese in Ohrid". It was organized jointly by the Faculty of History of Sofia University "St.. It was held at the Faculty of Sofia University, the Faculty of Sofia University and the Macedonian Scientific Institute. Historians, philologists, theologians, musicologists and art historians from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Poland, North Macedonia and Serbia took part in it with papers and scientific reports. In the spirit of scientific tolerance, different opinions were expressed, discussions and comments were made. For various reasons the publication of the proceedings of this scientific forum was delayed. The present 105th volume of the Yearbook of Sofia University - Faculty of History contains some of the conference papers, which the authors kindly made available for printing. We hope to delight the scientific community at home and abroad with this publication.
